Shingles are a kind of rash. It is caused by the chickenpox virus or herpes varicella-zoster. After varicose veins, the virus lies inactive in the nervous system. Some factors reactivate this virus and cause typhoid fever. Anyone who has suffered varicose veins is at risk of suffering from Shingles. Is it contagious? It can spread to people who have not had a viricide. They end up suffering from varicose veins. The contagious stage is before the crust forms. This can affect men and women.
The main cause of the Shingles is the reactivation of the virus. The virus no longer sleeps and travels to a nerve. This causes skin rashes to the nerve or any part of that area. Some of the factors that can cause the virus to reactivate are a weak immune system or some kind of physical or emotional shock.
Medications like antiviral drugs and painkillers are usually taken in this condition. Some essential oils can be used to relieve the symptoms of shingles.
Some of the essential oils for shingles are:
- Tea tree oil: The application of tea tree oil helps in this condition
- Neem oil: Neem helps to kill the virus and helps in healing.
- Eucalyptus oil: the application of eucalyptus oil can reduce the pain and discomfort of tiles.
- Lavender oil: lavender has analgesic properties. It can help to reduce shingles.
Other essential oils to stop shingles include:
- capsaicin oil
- peppermint oil
- thyme oil
- geranium oil
- lemon oil
- ravensar oil
Personal testimony on how I used essential oils to alleviate shingles and method:
Several years ago, I had a burn when my mother, who was diagnosed with kidney cancer, had surgery to remove the kidney. I was so stressed out that I didn’t pay attention to my body. It’s interesting how it happens, isn’t it?
Our bodies must tell us the degree of stress we are experiencing if we don’t pay attention to it. Finding that I had covered, I ran to my two favorite resource books – the Essential Toiletry Reference and the Alternative Medical Definitive Guide from the Burton Goldberg Group.
Both books mentioned ravensar – which I had in my oil collection and loved sinus problems. I immediately did some interns (I did an intern before going for bronchitis, so I took it internally again).
I put 7 drops in an empty gel coat and took one capsule in the morning and another in the evening. Within a day, my pains and symptoms disappeared. I decided to stay on this regimen for 21 days because that is the normal lifespan of a virus. My symptoms stayed away all the time, except for one day that I forgot to take my dose.
I said to myself “oh, I probably don’t have nettles – I have no symptoms, so I’m going to stop taking the capsules”. Well, within a day the symptoms came back, so I started to end again. Now, not everyone will feel comfortable using oils indoors.
There are ways to topically use essential oils for cover discomfort:
- Merge 10 drops of sandalwood, 5 drops of blue cypress, 4 drops of red pepper and 2 drops of ravensara.
- Dilute 50:50 with massage oil and apply 6 to 10 drops in the affected area, behind the neck and in the color of the cord 1 to 3 times a day. (of the essential requirement)
A case study was carried out by six hospice patients with nettle. Three essential oils combined and placed in distilled water and used as a spritz were found to improve roof symptoms.
The three oils used were:
- old lady
Aromatherapist Noel Gilligan organized this study. Mr. Gilligan reported that after 48 hours, there was a significant reduction in the pain of the tiles, inspiration, and cure of the impurities occurred and, for example, there was a disappearance of rust
It is important to build your immunity. Stay stress-free and enjoy relaxation activities. Read a good book and listen to soft music. Avoid chocolates and nuts and avoid foods with high salt content. Don’t scratch it. Do not cover the area in question, as this may prevent the lamp from healing. Eat lots of fruits and avoid food. Eat a diet rich in antioxidants. Drink plenty of water to remove toxins from your body.
